5 ingredients

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp margarine
  • ¾ cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • ¼ tsp dry mustard
  • 2 cans refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

Method

  1. Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan. Combine the margarine, 1/2 cup of the cheese, the milk and mustard; beat together until smooth.
  2. Separate the dough into 20 biscuits. Coat both sides of each biscuit with the cheese mixture; fold in half. Place 5 biscuits, folded side down, along the long side of the pan. Place the remaining folded biscuits to form 5 rows of 4 biscuits each. Spread any remaining cheese mixture on top.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 10 minutes. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup cheese over the top of the loaf (the cheese will melt while the bread is cooling). Remove from the pan.

Notes
