Ingredients

  • 7½ oz 1 can king crab, drained and flaked
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • ½ cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp dry mustard
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup butter
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 eggs

Method

  1. In a bowl combine the crab, onion, cheese, Worcestershire and mustard.
  2. In a saucepan combine water, butter and salt; bring to a boil. Remove from heat; add flour all at once, beating until the mixture forms a ball and leaves the sides of the pan.
  3. Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition. Blend in the crab mixture.
  4. Drop the mixture by small teaspoonfuls on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees and bake an additional 10 minutes. Serve hot.

Notes

Yield: 4 to 5 dozen appetizers.
