7 ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ⅓ cup whipping cream
  • 1 cup chopped nuts, divided
  • 2 1-pound loaves frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 2 tbsp softened butter
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

Method

  1. Combine the brown sugar and whipping cream. Pour into a greased 9x13-inch pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup of the chopped nuts.
  2. Roll the thawed dough into one 10x18-inch rectangle. Spread with the butter. Combine the sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over the dough along with the remaining 1/2 cup nuts.
  3. Beginning at the longest side, roll up jelly-roll fashion; pinch the edges to seal. Cut into 1-inch slices; place in the prepared pan. Cover; let rise until doubled in bulk.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes (do not overbake). Cool 2 minutes, then invert on a rack and remove the pan.
