Jell-O Strawberry Delight Mold (Joy Fisher's)

Ingredients

• 2 pkg 3 oz each Jell-O Strawberry Gelatin
• 2 cup boiling water
• ¾ cup cold water
• ¾ cup sliced strawberries
• 1 envelope Dream Whip Whipped Topping Mix

Method

1. Dissolve 1 package gelatin in 1 cup boiling water; stir in the cold water. Chill until slightly thickened. Stir in the strawberries; pour into a 1-quart mold. Chill until set, but not firm.
2. Dissolve the remaining gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. Chill until slightly thickened. Meanwhile, prepare the whipped topping mix as directed on the package; set 1/4 cup aside for garnish, if desired. Fold the remaining whipped topping into the thickened gelatin; spoon over the fruited gelatin. Chill until firm.
3. Unmold; garnish with the reserved topping. To unmold, run a wet knife around the edge. Dunk the mold in warm water, cover it with a wet plate, turn it over and shake it out.
