Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 6 tsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp allspice
  • ¾ oz per mug brandy
  • 1½ oz per mug rum
  • hot water
  • nutmeg

Method

  1. Separate the eggs and beat the whites to a stiff froth. Add the 6 teaspoons of powdered sugar and the allspice. Mix thoroughly.
  2. Beat the yolks until thin and mix with the whites. Stir well.
  3. Pour 2 tablespoons of the mixture into a mug. Add brandy and rum to each mug and fill up with hot water. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
