Ham and Cheese Roll-ups
Ingredients
- 2 cup Bisquick baking mix
- ½ cup water
- 1 tbsp 1 to 2 prepared mustard
- 6 oz thinly sliced cooked smoked ham
- 1 cup shredded Swiss or Cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup sliced green onions (with tops)
- 4 oz 1 can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
Method
- Mix the baking mix and water until dough forms. Smooth into a ball on a cloth-covered surface dusted with baking mix. Knead 15 times.
- Roll into a rectangle, 15x9 inches; spread with mustard. Top with the remaining ingredients. Roll up tightly, beginning at the 15-inch side. Pinch the edge into the roll (moisten if necessary).
- Wrap and refrigerate at least 30 minutes but no longer than 24 hours.
- Heat oven to 400 degrees. Cut into 12 slices. Place on a greased and floured cookie sheet (replace filling if necessary). Bake until golden, 20 to 25 minutes.
